I was browsing Fnac earlier and of course I went to look for John's albums, not because I wanted to buy them, I got them all already, more than one copy too ;-) ... I went in search of them because I miss the time that I first learned about John's music... Googling everything about him... He's songs for download, especially the ones that are, still, unreleased, it was great... The expectation of getting the cd at my hands, and open it for the very first time and play it in my car/home/ipod... What a rush...

I miss that feeling... the novelty of it all... I'm a veteran now ;-P

I went out last night with some friends and we ended up in this lame karaoke club... so freaking lame, but the good thing was that they had John Mayer on the book!! I was so surprised... The 2 songs on it were/are "Clarity" and "bigger Than My Body"... I don't sing, but I was asked/challenged to do it... Why? Just because I love oh so much John Mayer... I wasn't going to do it and I almost done it... But I can't sing... Even if it's "Clarity"... One of my all time John's favorites... ;-)

London, September 2007... John played this song at sound check.... I was not suppose to have seen it... Nor anyone else for that matter, but I did... Why? I am me... I had dinner at the Hall and as I was going to the restaurant I heard John's music... At first I was like, is this sound check?? And I don't have pre show ticket!!!! Quoting a friend as we were running up The Louvre and someone told us not to... I said F#$ it... It's John Mayer... I gotta go see him sound checking... I'm glad I did... One small show just for me... I was hiding... He didn't see me... I saw him... HaHaHa... Gotta go...

Hoje não sei porquê apetece-me escrever... O quê... Também não sei... Só tenho uma musica na cabeça... vê o post antigo... o video de family ties onde Alex P. Keaton conheçe o amor da vida dele!! Que por acaso não acabam por ficar juntos... Na série, porque na realidade até que se casou com a actriz!!! Boa Michael...

E agora não sei o que me apetece escrever mais... Mas ontem fui até Guimarães ver o Guimara~es Jazz e posso dizer que tenho que ir até Guimarães mais vezes... Muito bom sítio... Enfim... Vi o Sr. John Scofield, que até foi o Mayer que me apresentou... ele tem bons gostos, às vezes... hahaha... ainda bem que ele só sabe inglês e japonês e não percebe nada de português ;oP

E ouvi uma coisa muito engraçada!! Estavamos nós a caminho do concerto quando passa um grupo numa discussão acesa, bem acesa!!! E só me lembro desta frase: "onde está a democracia num copo partido?" Boa e pertinente pergunta, para a qual não tenho resposta de momento... Mas dá que pensar... Já me doi a cabeça... Com licença... vou tomar umas tantas aspirinas...
